I’m Floored To See How Wrong I’ve Been Cooking Frozen Steaks. What A Time Saver!

Conventional wisdom holds that frozen steaks should be thawed before cooking, but Dan Souza of Cook’s Illustrated wondered if steaks could be cooked straight from the freezer. They did a few cooking experiments and the results were surprising. Cooking a steak straight from the freezer turns out to be tastier than a thawed one!
