Scientists Mapped 8,000 Galaxies Surrounding Us And Found This Amazing Discovery

This is amazing. One has to be willing to let go of the "notion" that humans are at the center of everything. There is so much beyond our capability to comprehend that many just turn away from the science and refuse to "listen" to the universe around us. Perhaps this is an example of "through a glass darkly."

I love absolutely everything about this. Also, I find it very interesting that the supercluster and the network of the galaxy look very similar to dendrites and neurons in the human brain Credits: naturevideo
For those that don't know where we are:

“Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.”  - Douglas Adams
