Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has resurfaced—visibly tired, but defiant.
In his first public address since going into hiding after Israel’s strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Khamenei declared that Iran had “delivered a hand slap to America’s face.”
Sitting in front of brown curtains on Iranian state TV, he accused the U.S. of intervening in the war only to save Israel from collapse—and warned that Iran now has access to “key U.S. centers in the region.”
His chilling promise? “Such an action can be repeated.”
