Nineteen-year-old Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Piña, a Venezuelan TikToker living in Peru, disappeared after a party in early June. Just four days later, her dismembered remains were discovered near a water treatment plant in Lima — sparking a gruesome investigation filled with more questions than answers.
Tattoo Clues Helped Identify Her
On June 9, sanitation workers conducting a routine check near the La Atarjea water treatment plant made a horrifying discovery: bags filled with human remains.
What they found inside was later confirmed to be Fabiola — thanks to two tattoos on her body. One read, “Love me for who I am,” in English. Another, “Paula Sophia,” was inked across her torso.
Her last TikTok had been posted on June 5.
More Remains Found — But Her Case Remains Unsolved
In the following days, additional body parts were recovered — but even by June 19, some of her remains were still missing. The working theory is that her body was dumped in the Rímac River and eventually washed up at the treatment plant.
Signs of possible strangulation and torture — including cigarette burns on her legs and feet — have led police to believe she was lured under false pretenses, then brutally killed.
