JUST IN: 15 Minutes Ago, Henry Winkler Revealed The Truth

Henry Winkler, forever loved as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli from the iconic sitcom Happy Days, has shared a hilarious prediction for where the Fonz would be if he were living in today’s world.

While attending the Television Academy’s Hall of Fame ceremony, Winkler said with a laugh: “Where would he be? He would own Mr. Goodwrenches across the country.”

The actor, now 79, admitted that back in the 1970s, no one expected the show to become such a cultural phenomenon. “We had no idea. The only thing we knew is, we make every script funny, and then we did it the next year, and then we did it 11 years.”

Henry Winkler as Fonzie

Since Happy Days ended in 1984, Winkler has built an impressive career with roles in Heroes, Night Shift, Scream, The Waterboy, and the award-winning HBO hit Barry. He reflected: “I got the Fonz when I was 27, I got Barry when I was 72, and everything in between.”

But Winkler isn’t just an actor. He’s also an Emmy winner, bestselling author, and children’s book writer. His latest book, Detective Duck, arrives September 30 and tells the story of a little duckling with big dreams of becoming a detective — inspired by Winkler’s own struggles with dyslexia.

From jukebox cool to heartfelt storytelling, Henry Winkler proves that The Fonz’s legacy still inspires generations.
