Famous 80s Star Found Dead at 4AM in California Field

Fans of General Hospital are in mourning after the shocking death of Jennifer Robyn Bernard, a beloved actress who brought life to the role of Terry Brock throughout the 1980s.

Authorities confirmed that Bernard, 64, was found dead at 4 a.m. in an open field behind a business in San Jacinto, California. Police were called to the scene early Tuesday, and she was later identified through fingerprint analysis. The Riverside County Coroner is conducting an autopsy, with toxicology results expected in the coming weeks.

Born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas, Robyn Bernard made her screen debut in the 1981 film Diva. She appeared in shows like Whiz Kids and The Facts of Life before landing her breakout role as Terry Brock on General Hospital. From 1984 to 1990, she appeared in more than 145 episodes of the iconic soap opera.

Her later work included roles in Voices from the High School (2002), where she portrayed a psychologist. Robyn came from a talented family — her younger sister, Crystal Bernard, is also an actress best known for starring as Helen in the hit sitcom Wings.

Fans React With Heartbreak

Tributes have poured in across social media from lifelong General Hospital fans. One supporter wrote, “General Hospital has had a rough year. Peace be with you.” Another added, “Robyn Bernard, who played Terry Brock, has died at 64 💔 RIP.”

Others remembered her unforgettable on-screen presence, with one fan saying: “The #GH storylines were electric with her character. May she rest in peace.”

Another Loss for General Hospital

Bernard’s death comes less than a year after the passing of fellow General Hospital icon Jacklyn Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer. Zeman died in May 2023 at the age of 70 after a battle with cancer, leaving fans and colleagues devastated.

Executive producer Frank Valentini said at the time, “Just like her character, Jackie was a bright light and true professional that brought so much positive energy with her to work.”

Now, with the sudden loss of Robyn Bernard, longtime viewers are left with yet another heartbreak in the soap’s storied history.

Rest in peace, Jennifer Robyn Bernard (1959–2025). Your memory lives on in the hearts of fans forever.
