A moment of hope has emerged out of the tragedy in Kerr County: a young girl has been found alive after being swept over 12 miles downstream in Texas Hill Country floodwaters.
Her image is now going viral — not because she was rescued, but because many feared she wouldn’t be.
The emotional toll has been overwhelming as over 20 children from nearby camps remain missing, with at least 24 lives already confirmed lost.
Officials say the girl survived through the night alone in rising waters — and was discovered clutching onto tree roots near the riverbank.
Keep praying. These children need it.
