Terrified Children Describe Swimming to Survive Kerr County Flood

Two young brothers just went on camera describing the night the floodwaters hit Camp La Junta in Kerr County, Texas—and it’s harrowing.

“We had to swim out of our beds,” one of the boys said. “It was going up to the top bunk.”

They awoke around 4 a.m. to a cabin filling with water. As walls gave out, kids scrambled to the rafters and held on, waiting for hours before buses finally came.

At least 24 are confirmed dead. And from Camp Mystic, authorities say more than 20 girls are still missing.

But the darkest twist? Some Americans are CELEBRATING this. “Texas deserves it,” they post. Are we really this far gone?

These kids are fighting for their lives. And some just mock them?

Pray for Kerr County. 🙏
